Kate Patrick Kate Patrick is so excited to be performing with Adventure Theatre for the very first time! Some of her favorite past performances include The Prom (Emma Nolan), Shrek (Mama Bear), Mean Girls Jr. (Mrs. George), and Spamalot (Minstrel/Ensemble). When not onstage, Kate attends the University of Kentucky studying Japan Studies in hopes of becoming a Japanese teacher in the future. She is grateful for all of her friends and family who have supported her along the way!

Forrest Loeffler Forrest Loeffler is a Lexington based actor and has worked with various regional and community theaters in and around the Bluegrass, including Leeds Center for the Arts, The REP, AthensWest, Pioneer Playhouse, Studio Players, Woodford Theater and Adventure Theatre. Some of his favorite roles include Leo Bloom in The Producers, Clifford Anderson in Death Trap, Orin Scrivello D.D.S. in Little Shop of Horrors, and BLACK STACHE! in Peter and the Starcatcher. You may have seen him most recently in Adventure Theatre's A Christmas Carol as Scrooge. He currently portrays Abraham Lincoln with Kentucky Chautauqua Humanities and will appearing in Leeds's Star Crossed Lovers Ball on the 17th of February, their production of The Three Musketeers in May, and will be starring in The 39 Steps this summer with Pioneer Playhouse.

Brett Ervin Brett Ervin has performed in over ninety productions with several troupes, including Studio Players, Adventure Theatre, Ingenueity Unlimited, and Bluegrass Theatre Guild. This production will be his fifth with Adventure Theatre, having previously performed in Valentine Vengeance, Wedding Vow Vengeance, Trouble at the Santa Training Workshop, and Morty Zac’s Monster Bash. He has performed across Kentucky and in several other states, playing everything from Clouseau to Thoreau, thugs to priests, politicians to clowns (some say they are the same), and various incarnations of Scrooge. Brett is also a member of the Studio Players Board of Directors.

Julie Burdine Julianna’s love for theatre began her freshman year of high school, and since then continued with roles in a myriad of shows, her favorites being The Pajama Game and Rogers and Hammersteins’ Cinderella. After studying Social Work at Eastern Kentucky University, she is currently in the process of becoming a Lexington firefighter. She spends her free time working at a coffee shop, reading, nannying, playing guitar and spoiling her rescue dogs. She is ecstatic to be back on-stage for the second time in a couple of years.

THE DECEMBER 2023 CAST- "Santiclaws and the X-Mas Squad"
Cassidy Mullins Cassidy is delighted to be joining the Adventure Theatre family! She has had the pleasure of performing throughout central Kentucky at Woodford Theatre, Leeds Center for the Arts, and the Lexington Children’s Theatre for the past several years. Favorite previous credits include The Music Man (Marian Paroo), White Christmas (Judy Haynes), Mamma Mia! (Sophie), Matilda the Musical (Miss Honey), Beauty and the Beast (Belle), and Steel Magnolias (Shelby). Offstage, Cassidy is in her final year of Physician Assistant school, set to graduate this summer. She is grateful to her friends, family, and Jaime for enriching her life and supporting her craft!

Isaac Jones Isaac Jones (Crusty) is excited to play with Adventure Theatre once again, marking his 5th year in their productions! A native of Lexington, KY, he has served in varying capacities as a director and music direction for musical theatre productions. Holding a degree in Music Education, he continues to make efforts to compose music for entertainment and embark on a new journey towards audio design. He hopes you enjoy the snow-erm, show!

Jackson Becker Jackson Becker is so thrilled to join the Adventure Theatre family in this incredibly fun production! His previous credits include: Smee, Fester, and Professor Bhaer at Leeds Center for the Arts. Jackson was also Trent Oliver in the Prom with Voices Amplified. When he isn’t on the stage, Jackson loves spending time with his family, friends, and his two cats Mateo and Matilda. He would also like to thank Elena Guerra for everything she does!

Elena Guerra Elena is a Lexington based actor, she received her BA in Theatre from the University of Kentucky. You may also have seen her as Citrine in Wicked Witches’ Brew or Jennifer Highbridge in Sing a Song of Murder with Adventure Theatre. Other recent credits include Molly Aster in Peter and the Starcatcher with Leeds Center, Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda with Leeds Center, Kaylee in The Prom with Voices Amplified, and Matron/Principal in Hairspray with Jessamine County Arts. Elena is an Early Elementary Educator, cat mom, and Gilmore Girls fanatic. She thanks her family, friends, and Jackson for their continued support in her artistic journey. Gillian Perry Born and raised in Lexington KY, Gillian received her BA in Theatre and minor in Creative Writing from Northern Kentucky University. Since graduating she’s been in UK Opera Theatre’s It’s a Grand Night for Singing! and has also received her 200 hour level yoga certification from Lexington Healing Arts Academy. She is so excited to be making her Adventure Theatre debut!

Denver Saunders Denver Saunders is a fresh, new face in the acting world. So new, in fact, that this is only his third production in a short time! He has spent much of the last year in the offstage roles of "Theatre Husband" for his talented and beautiful spouse; Susan Strange, and "Theatre Dad" for their two lovely children. Watching them struggle and succeed has led him to seek the stage for himself. He is thrilled to be working with the amazing talent Adventure Theatre has gathered, and hopes that you will enjoy the show!

Natalie Hutcherson Natalie has been doing theatre for about 10 years all over central Kentucky. She started dancing at the age of 2 and has been in love with the performing arts ever since. Recently, Natalie received her Associate’s degree in fine arts in theatre from Bluegrass Community and Technical College. This is her first show with Adventure Theatre, and she has loved every minute of it!

Isaac Jones Isaac has spent time as an actor, music director, choreographer and director in the Lexington, Versailles, Georgetown and Winchester areas. His most recent projects included Guys and Dolls (May 2022), Little Shop of Horrors (October 2022), and Scrooge in Rouge (December 2022). A former music instructor, he is now focusing his career on audio design and music composition in video games. Isaac is very excited to make his way back to performing into what will surely be several evenings of happily drifting away into song and storytelling!

Susan Strange Susan is so excited for the return of live theatre and to be able to work with Adventure Theatre again. She began her journey into theatre with the East Jessamine High School theatre program under the direction of Lindsey Sovkoplas in 2016 and has not stopped since. Her recent acting credits include: Rosie in Mamma Mia with Leeds Center for the Arts, Mrs. Hannigan in Jessamine County Arts + production of Annie! as well as numerous shows with Adventure Theatre. Susan would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her and she would like to thank Lindsey and Adam Sovkoplas for offering these opportunities to actors across the region.

Amelia Fitch Amelia Fitch is so excited for her third show with Adventure Theatre. She not only has a passion for acting but directing too, and she is ecstatic to take on another role. Most recently she has been in the musical You're a Good Man Charlie Brown and the premiere of the new show Ladies of Liberty. Ella Tillery Ella Tillery is thrilled to be joining Adventure Theatre for a second time! She has enjoyed performing through theatre and dance for many years now. Taking her education further, Ella is currently studying at Northern Kentucky University where she is a freshman Musical Theatre major. Bailey Angel Bailey Angel is thrilled to be performing with Adventure Theatre for the first time. She currently is an Acting Teacher for InnOVATION Arts Academy, a Character Performer for Once Upon a Dream Tea Room & Party Entertainment, an Actor for Murder and Merriment and the Marketing Coordinator for The Lyric Theatre & Cultural Arts Center. Bailey received her BFA in Theatre Performance from Belmont University.

Elathan Bowling Elathan Bowling is a sophomore at the University of Pikeville perusing a BA in Performing Arts (Vocal Performance). He has been in theatre for most of his life, doing numerous shows with Artist Collaborative Theatre. He is an alumni of the Governor’s School for the Arts (Drama), and a Governors Scholar. Some of his favorite roles that he has played has been Jimmy Ray in Bright Star, Buddy in Elf: The Musical, and Luke in Candles to the Son. THE FEBRUARY 2023 CAST- "Maxine Luv and the Disastrous Date"
Lizzie Royce Lizzie is thrilled to be acting with Adventure Theatre for the first time. She has an acting degree from Syracuse University. She studied acting with Uta Hagen in New York City.
Kempa Turner This is Kempa’s first gig with Adventure Theatre but not with acting. Growing up
in a military family she resided on both coasts before she landed in Lexington. It was during these earlier years she was involved in community plays, children’s theatre production in Virginia and participated in a theatre competition in California. Her college years brought about speech and debate tournaments as she majored in speech pathology. Having spent 27 years as a speech therapist in Woodford, Bourbon and Fayette counties she still held on to the acting bug and directed several student plays and skits. Since retirement in 2014, Kempa has written and performed in several plays with the OLLI community (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UK). One of the plays won second place in the newcomers division for the KTA Quarantine Bake Off contest in 2020. Kempa and her precious dog Winston reside in Lexington with her husband of 35 years where she enjoys hobbies of Pickleball, quilting and being a life long student. |

Jane Dewey This is Jane's first theatre adventure since early March 2020 and she's thrilled to be joining the cast of "Maxine Luv and the Disastrous Date". Jane is the Director of Arts Education for the Danville Independent School District, an educator, actor, and director, and a fierce and passionate advocate for arts education and the arts in KY! Some of her favorite roles include Gingy in "Love, Loss, and What I Wore" and Ursula in "Vincent in Brixton". She shares a home in Danville with her husband and two four-legged family members and is the proud mom of two adult children. She hopes that you are as happy as she is to be back to live theatre! Eph Page Ephraim “Eph” Page (Maxine Luv) is an actor and costume designer from Lexington, Kentucky. They are brand new to Adventure Theatre but a longtime actor, with other recent roles in “Exit, Pursued by a Bear” (Nan Carter) and “Picnic” (Rosemary) at Transylvania University, where they are completing the final semester of their Theater BA. Let’s get hitched, honey!
Faith Hess Faith Hess is a 17-year-old aspiring actress and is very excited to say that this is her first show with Adventure Theater! She is currently a Senior at Scott County High School and will be attending Western Kentucky University in the fall to major in Psychology and minor in Musical Theater. Faith loves singing, dancing, and acting. Some of her favorite past shows have included Seussical the Musical (Mayzie La Bird), Freaky Friday (Ensemble), and Legally Blonde (Store owner/Sorority Girl/ Inmate). She is so happy to be a part of this production and can’t wait for everyone to see and enjoy the show!

Hannah Lauck Hannah is thrilled to be making her Adventure Theatre debut! She is a Kentucky-based artist originally from Louisville, KY. After studying performing arts in college, Hannah moved into the central Kentucky theatre scene, working with groups such as Woodford Theatre (The Mousetrap, Barefoot in the Park, Guys and Dolls, Little Shop of Horrors), Jessamine County Arts+ (You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown), and now Adventure Theatre with The Mistletoes!

Madalyn Frederick Madalyn Frederick is a 22-year-old aspiring actress, with an Associate in Fine Arts. She also had the pleasure of attending an acting intensive program at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in NYC, where she hopes to end up living! Madalyn loves to sing, act, and laugh, so come join her in The Mistletoes while she does! This is her 4th show with Adventure Theatre, and she’s so excited to be back for Christmas.

He is a 2009 alumnus of Kentucky Governor's School for the Arts in the discipline of Vocal Music; and studied performing arts at Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. Past accolades include: Elvis das Musical (2017 European Tour), The Schmidt Opera Outreach Program and It's a Grand Night for Singing (UK Opera Theatre; Lexington, KY). He is excited to be joining Adventure Theater once again.

Carrie Moscoe Carrie Moscoe is thrilled to be back with Adventure Theatre! You may have caught her last December when she played The Queen in The Very Merry Madrigals with Adventure Theatre. Her most recent Theatre credit was playing The Minstrel in Missoula Chidlren's Theatre's Rumpelsitskin as a Tour Actor/Director for their Winter/Spring Tour. Other favorite roles include Miss Honey in Matilda, The Second Witch in Macbeth, Juliet Capulet in Romeo and Juliet, and Marcellus/Lucianus/2nd Gravedigger in Hamlet. Carrie is also a trained operatic soprano and recently sang in Suor Angelica for the International Opera Festival of Morelia in Morelia, Mexico.

Braden Mills Braden Mills is a local Kentucky performer and 2016 graduate from Berea College, where he got his Bachelors in Theatre. Braden was last seen as the Shepherd in Adventure Theatre's A Very Merry MADrigal. Most recent credits include Full Tilt Boogie at the Big Bang Diner (Helene), Wormwood (Stefan), and Robo-Love: Cyborg Speed Dating (C.H.I.P). He is excited to be a part of another fun Adventure Theatre production.

(Cornelius Hackl), A Christmas Story, The Musical (The Old Man), Big Fish (Edward Bloom), Mary Poppins (Mr. Banks), Hairspray (Wilbur), Mamma Mia (Harry), Children of Eden (Adam), and A Little Night Music (Frederick). He's studying many works of art for this production.

Julianna Clarke Jules Clarke is thrilled for the return of live theatre, and grateful that her return is with Adventure Theatre! Susan Strange Susan is so excited for the return of live theatre and to be able to work with Adventure Theatre again. She began her journey into theatre with the East Jessamine High School theatre program under the direction of Lindsey Sovkoplas in 2016 and has not stopped since. Her recent acting credits include: Rosie in Mamma Mia with Leeds Center for the Arts, Mrs. Hannigan in Jessamine County Arts + production of Annie! as well as numerous shows with Adventure Theatre. Susan would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her and she would like to thank Lindsey and Adam Sovkoplas for offering these opportunities to actors across the region.
Abby Davis Abby Davis is a recent graduate of the University of Kentucky's Theatre, English, and Musical Theatre Certificate programs. As an avid actor, vocalist, arts administrator, digital marketer, and writer, she has split her time delving into directing and devising in both academic and professional spaces online and around Central Kentucky. Some of her favorite directing/devising credits at the University of Kentucky include The Audience Disturbs Marcel’s Bath Time and He Is Very Upset With You All by Ryan M. Bultrowicz, Annie Brown’s Fifth Grade Science Presentation by Matt Morse, and Teatro Antifa Presents... Abby currently serves as the Drama Coach for East Jessamine High School and the Director of Communications & Content Strategy for the National Women's Theatre Festival.

Brett Ervin Brett Ervin has performed in more than eighty productions with many Central Kentucky theatrical organizations, including Adventure Theatre, Studio Players, Woodford Theatre, Bluegrass Theatre Guild, Georgetown Community Theatre, Jessamine Classical Theatre, Bluegrass Mystery Theatre and Fantastical Theatricals. He most recently appeared as Walter in Becky’s New Car at Studio Players, and has performed on stages and trains across Kentucky and several other states, playing everything from Clouseau to Thoreau, thugs to priests, politicians to clowns (some say they are the same), foreigners, addicts, various incarnations of Scrooge, and even Dorothy of Golden Girls fame.
Isaac Jones Isaac has served locally as an actor, music director, choreographer and director in Lexington, Versailles, Georgetown and Winchester. Outside of that, he balances roles as a teacher in Fayette County Public Schools, as well as Guitar Center as the keyboard/voice instructor. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, his most recent reappearance on stage was Woodford Theatre's 2021 production of White Christmas. Isaac is no stranger to Adventure Theatre, and is more than excited to reprise a character that is, for lack of a better term, louder than life!

THE DECEMBER 2021 CAST- "A Very Merry MADrigal"
Carrie Moscoe Carrie Moscoe is joyed beyond measure to be making her Adventure Theatre Debut in The Very Merry MADrigals! She is an actress and singer native to Lexington, Kentucky. She attended Western Kentucky University receiving her Bachelors in Music and English. Most recently, she played The Second Witch/Second Murderer/Gentlewoman in Image Theatre’s Macbeth. A classically trained soprano, she also understudied Gretel in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel and sang in the premiere staging of Paul Richard’s The Loathly Lady as the Second Lady in Waiting for the Vienna Summer Music Festival. Two of her favorite roles in the past include Juliet in Romeo and Juliet for BYO Shakespeare and Miss Honey in Stage Right Acting’s Matilda the Musical. In her free time, she walks her dog, practices her music, and knits. Have fun, lovely peasants!

Madalyn Frederick Madalyn Frederick is a 21-year-old aspiring actress, with an Associate in Fine Arts from Bluegrass Community and Technical College. She recently had the pleasure of attending a 2 month acting intensive program at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in NYC! She uses her free time not only participating in community theatre, but also spending time with friends, adventuring, listening to live music and singing, or playing video and board games. Madalyn’s favorite role to date was in ‘Mamma Mia!’ as Donna Sheridan (a dream role of hers), her senior year of high school. One day she hopes to move to New York in order to pursue an acting/singing career and be closer to her family.

Savannah Adams Savannah Riley Adams is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a Dance Focus. She has enjoyed choreographing numerous shows and teaching theatre and music to all ages. As a performer, some of her favorite productions include: Into the Woods (Cinderella’s Mother / Granny / Female Swing) — Distilled Theatre Company; Disney’s Beauty & the Beast (Ensemble / Understudy Wardrobe) – Kentucky Conservatory Theatre; She Kills Monsters (Farrah the Fairie) – NKU Theatre and Dance; Into the Woods (Rapunzel) – Leeds Center for the Arts; and I’ll Be Home for Christmas (Stella Ashton / Choreographer) – Kincaid Regional Theatre. Hayden Bennett Hayden Bennett is a theatre artist based in Lexington, KY, and thrilled to return to live performance with Adventure Theatre! Favorite theatre credits include A Distant Dream; Bike America; The Drunken City (University of Kentucky); Nights at the Algonquin Round Table; Mea Culpa (Lexington Studio Players). Jonathan Adkins Returning for his third show with Adventure Theatre, Jonathan Adkins is a Senior at East Jessamine High School, spending most of his extra time with the theatre and choir departments. Alongside his high school theatre career, Jonathan has performed in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Studio Players in Lexington, KY) and just became a 2019 alumnus of the Kentucky Center’s Governors School for the Arts in the Vocal Music discipline. He hopes to continue learning both theatre and voice after graduating high school.

Cody Taylor A Lexington native, Cody Taylor holds a B.F.A. in physical theatre from Coastal Carolina University, a program that also required him to study for a year abroad at the Accademia dell'Arte in Arezzo,Italy. As an actor, musician, and clown/physical comedian, he has worked professionally with many companies, including but not limited to the Unto These Hills Outdoor Drama (3 seasons), the National Theatre for Children, AthensWest Theatre Company, the Sleepy Hollow Experience, the Lexington Children's Theatre, Murder and Merriment Theatre Company, the Sterling Renaissance Festival in NY, and Skylight Empire Productions, a brand new immersive experience company, where Cody serves as both actor and co-producer. He has also dabbled in voice work, having just recently lent his voice to the role of Malvolio for the Appalachian Shakespeare Center's puppet film adaptation of Twelfth Night.

While at the University of Kentucky, Adam studied playwriting with playwright and screenwriter Herman Daniel Farrell III. Since arriving in Kentucky in 2006, Adam has acted with, built sets for, or written shows for The REP Theatre, AthensWest, Studio Players, Bluegrass Community Technical College, Tates Creek High School, Eastern Kentucky University Opera Workshop, East Jessamine High School, Bluegrass Mystery Theatre, Woodford Theatre, Kentucky Conservatory Theatre, Leeds Center for the Arts, and the Creative Art League Theater of Jessamine County. In 2018, Adam and his wife, Lindsey, co-founded Adventure Theatre and are realizing their dream: to share their passion for theater with the people of Central Kentucky and beyond!

Kayla Stroud Kayla is a junior at the University of Kentucky majoring in Mathematics and Theatre with the Musical Theatre Certificate. She has recently been seen as Sally Bowles in Cabaret with UK Theatre and other previous credits include Belle in Beauty and the Beast with Inspiring Arts Productions, #46 in The Wolves with UK Theatre and Adelaide in Guys and Dolls with Acting Up. She is very excited to have her debut with Adventure Theatre in Robo-Love and would like to thank the cast and directors for this wonderful and fun experience. Susan Strange Susan lives in Versailles with her husband and two children. Sharon Roark This show marks Sharon Roark's return to acting after a 10+ year hiatus. She previously appeared as Anna in the King and I with Bluegrass Theatre Guild and performed in "Miracle on 34th Street" and "Footloose" with Woodford County Community Theater. A Lawrenceburg native, Sharon now calls Lexington home. She works as a realtor & home stager with ERA Select Real Estate where she strives to keep all her clients' transactions drama-free.

Braden Mills Braden Mills is an actor from Berea, Kentucky. He has performed in community theatre productions with The Spotlight Playhouse in Berea and Rose Barn Theater in Richmond. His recent shows include Elf: the Musical Jr. (Buddy), Over the River and Through the Woods (Nick), The Importance of Being Earnest (Jack Worthing), Spamalot (Patsy), and The Drowsy Chaperone (Underling). As a Berea College graduate, he performed in an all-alumni production of August Wilson's Ma Rainey's Black Bottom as Irvin. He also read the roles of Young Man Scrooge and Topper in the Backstage with Adventure Theatre radio broadcast of James Rodger's adaptation of A Christmas Carol. Braden is really excited to be making his Adventure Theatre dinner show debut!

Emily DeBold Emily is a Sophomore studying Arts Administration and Theatre with a minor in Business at the University of Kentucky. Emily enjoys knitting and spending time with her friends in her free time. Previous credits include (Mother) in Machinal, (Fräulein Schneider US) in Cabaret, (Mama Ogre+ Wicked Witch) in Shrek, (Babe) in Crimes of the Heart, and (waitress+ Ensemble) in The Drunken City- all at the University of Kentucky. Chris Williams Chris Williams is a licensed plumber in Lexington and is happy to joining his first production with adventure theatre! Chris has been on and off the stage since fourth grade. Bonnie Stuck Bonnie Marie Stuck was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and is making her Murder Mystery debut in "There Once Was a Murder Most Foul". Bonnie is an honors graduate of SCAPA, the School for the Creative and Performing Arts, and has performed in bands across the country as well as several musical theatre productions. Some of her favorite roles include Adelaide in "Guys and Dolls", Mimi in "RENT", and Lucy in "Jekyll and Hyde".

Amelia Fitch Amelia Fitch is a student at Bluegrass Community and Technical College working on her AFA and AA for film and theatre. Amelia is so excited for her first show with Adventure Theatre. She not only has a passion for acting but directing too, and she is ecstatic to take on another role. Most recently she has been in the musical You're a Good Man Charlie Brown and the premiere of the new show Ladies of Liberty. Emma Lewis Emma Lewis is excited to be returning to the stage as Bethany in Tofurky Day Turmoil. Her theatrical career started in high school as an actor and stage manager. She has been stage managing productions around Lexington, Cincinnati, and New York ever since. Emma is currently a senior at the University of Kentucky, majoring in Environmental and Sustainability Studies. Abigail Davis Abby is a Theatre & English double-major and Musical Theatre Certificate junior at the University of Kentucky. Her previous credits include TEXAS! Outdoor Musical (Molly Goodnight), Studio Player’s Nights at the Algonquin Round Table (Sally Ardath), Love’s Labour’s Lost (Boyet), Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You (Diane Symonds), and A Doll’s House (Kristine Linde). She is an alumna of the 2016 Governor’s Scholars Program where she studied Music Theory and Performance and continues involvement in instrumental performance as an active participant in UK Bands and its service organizations. She has also explored stage combat (unarmed, knife), acting for camera, and playwriting, including writing Adventure Theatre’s Tofurkey Day Turmoil. Abby is absolutely ecstatic to return for her third production to expand the influence of creative arts throughout Central Kentucky and support giving artists of all kinds a platform.

Sitting on the floor at 2am reciting Shakespeare alone from behind a thin, hand-painted paper mask in the full-length bedroom mirror. Spirit-communer, antique-hoarder, moon-howler, midnight fountain-wader, king of the feast with chalice and brass fork, debutant. Gargoyle in a Victorian, tattered gown.

Randy Hall Randy Hall is very excited to be in his first show with Adventure Theatre. He has worked all around Central Kentucky since 2006; performing with Georgetown Community Theatre, Studio Players, Balagula Theatre, and Bluegrass Mystery Theatre. He has always enjoyed the scripted improv nature of murder mystery dinner theatre and looks forward to other such opportunities.

Elena Guerra Elena is a Sophomore at the University of Kentucky where Theatre is her major and she is a part of the Musical Theatre Certificate. In her time away from the stage, she enjoys cooking and ceramic art. Her recent productions include Mrs.Brill (Mary Poppins), Jean Louise Finch (To Kill a Mockingbird), and Ensemble (Hairspray!). She hopes to continue her educational journey through graduate school to be her best self.

Ryan Briggs Ryan Briggs has been a theatre practitioner for more than half of his life, and has taught theatre to middle and high school students for the past seven years. He received his Masters degrees in Theatre Arts and in Secondary Education from the University of Kentucky. As a native Lexington actor and director, he has had bountiful opportunities. He has performed at Kentucky Conservatory Theatre, AthensWest Theatre Company, Studio Players, Balagula Theatre, Paragon Music Theatre, Bluegrass Mystery Theatre & Phoenix Group Theatre. He has also performed regionally at Jenny Wiley Theatre, Kincaid Regional Theatre, Woodford Theatre, Ragged Edge Theatre, and Richmond Area Theatre. Ryan is proud to be a theatre advocate and educator for Kentucky and to inspire future generations of theatre artists.

Madalyn Gannon Madalyn Gannon is an 18-year-old aspiring actress, majoring in Theatre & Film at Bluegrass Community and Technical College. She uses her free time not only participating in community theatre, but also spending time with friends, adventuring/traveling, listening to live music, or playing video games. Madalyn’s latest role was in ‘Mamma Mia!’ as Donna Sheridan, a dream role of hers. One day she hopes to move to New York in order to pursue an acting/singing career and be closer to her family.

Jonathan Adkins Returning for his second show with Adventure Theatre, Jonathan Adkins is a Senior at East Jessamine High School, spending most of his extra time with the theatre and choir departments. Alongside his high school theatre career, Jonathan has performed in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Studio Players in Lexington, KY) and just became a 2019 alumnus of the Kentucky Center’s Governors School for the Arts in the Vocal Music discipline. He hopes to continue learning both theatre and voice after graduating high school.

THE JUNE 2019 CAST- "Mob Murder Mix-Up"
Emily Hutchinson Emily Hutchinson was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. Growing up, she was involved in many theatrical endeavors, including shows through the Lexington Children's Theater, summer drama camps and the never-ending days of playing pretend with her best friend. Entering middle and high school, Emily pursued other artistic realms with a clarinet and pair of marching shoes. Now, more than a decade after she first stepped onto a stage, Emily has found her way back to the theatrical community she once loved. She's excited to join Adventure Theatre for the first time in Mob Murder Mix-Up and hopes you enjoy the show!

Darius Brooks Actor and wordsmith, Darius Brooks, is a native of Lexington, Kentucky and describes himself as adaptable, strong, and caring. He began his acting career in 2018 with his debut role as Cedric in "Low Hanging Fruit" by Antagonist Productions. Darius Brooks also played Jack in the play "Overboard", which was also put on by Antagonist Productions. Most recently, Darius starred in “Something Like Family” as the lead male role, Corey, a husband and father of two with a photography business (March 2019). Darius is easily recognizable by his stout stature and deep bellows while on stage. He aspires to follow his love for theatre and see where it takes him.

Montarius Freeman Montarius Freeman is a Kentucky native who started theatre in his third year of high school. Despite already having post-graduation plans, he decided to pursue his career in acting; he now attends BCTC as a theatre major. In his free time, he does gymnastics, whether he is teaching or just expanding his own knowledge. His other hobbies include drawing, singing, dancing, and volunteering as much as he can. This will be Montarius’ first show with Adventure Theatre and his first murder mystery, and he couldn’t be more excited to keep learning in a new environment.

Nita Norris Adams Nita’s central Kentucky credits include West T. Hill (The Trip to Bountiful), Studio Players (The Last of Mrs. Lincoln, The Miracle Worker), Moonlight (Love Letters), Bluegrass Guild (It’s a Wonderful Life), and Ragged Edge (Driving Miss Daisy). She has also enjoyed her roles in local films and performing with professional murder mystery troupes. Nita is originally from McKinney, Kentucky.

THE MARCH 2019 CAST- "There Once Was a Murder Most Foul"
Cameron Taylor Cameron Taylor is an actor and Lexington native, and he is very excited to be a part of his first show with Adventure Theatre! He graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2017, with a BFA in Theatre Arts with a focus in Physical Theatre. Cameron has been acting in the Lexington theatre scene for many years, with his most recent appearances being as Tim Allgood in Noises Off! (Woodford Theatre), Man #3 in The Big Meal (Studio Players), and as Ralph Herdman in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (Lexington Children's Theatre). Outside of Kentucky, Cameron has performed in the outdoor dramas Trumpet in the Land as Colonel Williamson and in Tecumseh! as General Proctor for the past two summers. He has also toured with the Minneapolis based National Theatre for Children. His most recent regional credits include various roles in Captain Wattage (National Theatre for Children), Harry MacAfee in Bye Bye Birdie (Trumpet in the Land), Polonius in Hamlet (Tecumseh!), and Alarbus/Aemelius in Titus Andronicus (Tecumseh!).

Bonnie Stuck Bonnie Marie Stuck was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and is making her Murder Mystery debut in "There Once Was a Murder Most Foul". Bonnie is an honors graduate of SCAPA, the School for the Creative and Performing Arts, and has performed in bands across the country as well as several musical theatre productions. Some of her favorite roles include Adelaide in "Guys and Dolls", Mimi in "RENT", and Lucy in "Jekyll and Hyde".

Luke McKeel Luke McKeel is a theatrical performer, voice actor, and musician originally hailing from Greenville, North Carolina. He was first introduced to the world of acting long ago through staged readings of Shakespeare's plays while pursuing his undergraduate degree in English Literature, and he has never been the same since. After college, he pursued a master's degree in counseling, and did not return to the performing arts world until a decade later (yes...ten whole years). His most recent accolades include: Lurch (The Addams Family Musical), Frederick (Young Frankenstein), and Narrator for Sem: Adventures Across Time. He is incredibly excited to join the amazing team at Adventure Theatre, and he cannot wait to see what this part of his journey has in store!

Sara Garner Sara Garner is pleased to return for her second show with Adventure Theatre. She is also thrilled to have been given the opportunity to write the script for “There Once Was a Murder Most Foul.” Sara has enjoyed acting since her childhood, having grown up in a musically talented and theatrical family. She has acted with several Central Kentucky theatre companies including Bluegrass Theatre Guild, Georgetown College’s Maskrafters, Bluegrass Mystery Theatre, and The Theatre Downstream. Sara’s most treasured role is that of mother to Daniel Scott.

Nick Hendricksen Nick Hendricksen is an AMDA NYC alumni who has lived in KY 7 years, and is always amazed by the talent he has had the opportunity to work with. Jeshua Logsdon Jeshua Logsdon is a local theatrical performer, voice teacher, and professional musician. He is a 2009 alumnus of Kentucky Governor's School for the Arts in the discipline of Vocal Music; and studied performing arts at Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. Recent accolades include: Elvis das Musical (2017 European Tour), The Addams Family Musical (The Spotlight Playhouse; Berea, KY), and most recently Young Frankenstein (The Spotlight Playhouse, Berea, KY). He is excited to be returning for his second show with Adventure Theatre!

Hannah Daugherty Hannah Daugherty is an actress based out of Lexington, KY. She has been a part of the local theatre scene for a few years now. Some of her favorite, most recent roles include Ulla (The Producers) at Woodford Theatre, Callie (Stop Kiss) with Studio Players, and Lucy (You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown!) at West T. Hill Theatre. She recently graduated from AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts in Los Angeles, California (and may have left her heart there on accident). When she isn’t working, she spends her time singing, loving her pup Scooby, and Wii Bowling. She is thrilled to join Adventure Theatre and is so excited to see new theatre companies like it in Lexington!

Isaac Jones Isaac Jones, a Lexington, KY native, is thoroughly excited to join Adventure Theatre, for the second time, in its opening season! He enjoys balancing time as a school teacher in Fayette County, a community private teacher, and a local actor. Shows in the past year include The Producers, Beauty and the Beast, Sweeney Todd, and Hairspray. He has just finished his debut show as a director with Annie, Jr., but looks forward to another exciting experience here that you definitely don’t want to miss!

Abby Davis Abby is a sophomore Theatre & English double-major at the University of Kentucky. Her most recent collegiate credits include Diane Symonds (Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You), The Girl/Jig (Hills Like White Elephants), Gretchen (1-900-DESPERATE), and Sally Ardath (Nights at the Algonquin Round Table). She has also explored work in stage combat and acting for camera, including experience with student-produced films at several nearby institutions. Also as an active participant in University of Kentucky college bands playing alto saxophone, she hopes to expand her musical knowledge into the realm of musical theatre; in addition, she plans to apply her writing skills to that of playwriting in her remaining years of undergraduate studies and artistic career. Abby is ecstatic to have the privilege of working alongside her fellow cast members and creative team to build upon the Kentucky arts community.

Brett Ervin Brett Ervin has performed in more than eighty productions in many of Central Kentucky’s most well-known theatrical organizations, including Studio Players, Woodford Theatre, Georgetown Community Theatre, Jessamine Classical Theatre, Balagula, Bluegrass Mystery Theatre and Fantastical Theatricals. He most recently played Clarence in It’s A Wonderful Life, and has performed on stages (and trains) across Kentucky and in four other states (Illinois, Michigan, Georgia and California). His roles have been diverse, playing characters from Inspector Clouseau to Henry David Thoreau, violent thugs to priests, politicians to clowns (some say they are the same), foreigners, addicts, various incarnations of Scrooge, and even Dorothy of Golden Girls fame. Brett is thrilled to be a part of the new Adventure Theatre and looks forward to entertaining you!

Susan Strange Susan Strange is extremely proud to be a part of Adventure Theatre’s cast for the second time! Susan lives in Versailles with her husband and two children. She started the journey into theatre with her involvement with the East Jessamine High School theatre program. While there, she has acted in the Student-Led Production of Miss Nelson is Missing as Principal Humleker. She has choreographed The Addams Family Musical, as well as many dance numbers from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Susan has also taken on the roles of costumer and head of hair and make-up with EJHSTheatre. She can't wait to get started with this talented cast!

Katie is absolutely thrilled to be joining Adventure theatre in the role of Mrs. Claus (Victoria ) this winter! She has been performing since she was 5 years old. Some of her favorite roles she has played include, but are not limited to, Lily St. James in Annie, Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray, and Magenta in Rocky Horror. Katie is planning on attending New York Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts (NYCDA) this spring semester. She also wants to thank all of her family and friends for their support.

Sara Garner Sara Garner is thrilled to join Adventure Theatre. A native of Frankfort, Sara has been involved in many productions of the Bluegrass Theatre Guild. Some of her favorite roles include Wendy in “Peter Pan,” and Winnifred in “Once Upon a Mattress.” During her collegiate years, Sara performed in several Maskrafters productions at Georgetown College. She has been a part of Museum Theatre at the Kentucky Historical Society, was filmed in an episode of “Deadly Possessions” which aired on The Travel Channel, and most recently portrayed Mary Bailey in “It’s a Wonderful Life” at the Grand Theatre. Sara’s most treasured role is that of mother to her son, Daniel Scott.
